Tenuta Le Selve is located in Gaino, a village in the municipality of Toscolano Maderno. With 1000 olive trees growing on a beautiful plateau, its size makes it almost unique in this area of Lake Garda. Also here – 300 feet above sea level – is the Filippini family villa, a luxury inn with 3 fully-featured suites, furnished with fine attention to detail.
The Area
Tenuta Le Selve’s location, with the favorable winds blowing from Monte Pizzoccolo, creates a continuous rise and fall in temperatures. This combination significantly reduces common plant diseases and promotes a special excellence and fineness of flavor.
All phases of cultivation – up to harvest, transportation, and pressing (which occurs the same day as harvest) – are focused on a single goal: achieving excellence.
